RESET is proud to announce the achievement of RESET Air Certification for Commercial Interior (v2.0) for Lingotto Hotels DT.

Once a FIAT factory, DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto’s 1920s building was converted by architect, Renzo Piano, and is now the first RESET Air Certified Hotel in Europe.

Lingotto Hotels DT has deployed RESET Accredited in-duct air quality monitors according to the RESET Air Standard requirements. Throughout the required three-month data audit phase, the project had to demonstrate the ability to maintain IAQ within the thresholds required by the RESET Air Standard. Lingotto Hotels DT has been awarded with RESET Air Certification for Commercial Interior (v2.0) on the August of 2021.

The above air quality indicators and thresholds are based on industry best-practices and international standards. Targets are requisite for the projects pursuing RESET Air Certification. Additionally, temperature and relative humidity are continuously monitored, although no specific thresholds are prescribed.

After obtaining RESET Air certification, the project must maintain these thresholds in order to keep its certification status. Air quality data is collected via air quality monitors and evaluated daily by the RESET Assessment Cloud. Additionally, air data must share with project occupants to foster education and promote social equity.
