Create Materials
It’s free to start creating materials on Origin. Manufacturers can add materials to Origin in one of two ways.
Import Materials. Materials can be imported using Origin’s Import API Services (requires a paid account for API access and additional fees apply). This allows Manufacturers to manage data using their own internal databases and push desired content to the Origin Data Hub as needed. As updates are received, changes are automatically displayed on Origin - there’s no need for Manufacturers to manage data twice!
Importing materials gives Manufacturers the most flexibility and control over their data while also reducing or eliminating the need for data management.
Create Materials. Manufacturers can create and manage materials directly using the Origin platform. Bulk create and edit tools are available to streamline data management and more tools are offered in paid accounts.
Manufacturers can Connect 3rd Party Certifications to any material, regardless of how it has been added to Origin. Manufacturers own the data they add and are in full control of it - they decide what is published and where it appears.
